All test results and analysis provided are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
7. Analytics, Marketing & Email Service Providers
This website does not currently run third-party website-analytics or advertising trackers. We do not load Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, or any comparable analytics or advertising tag on this site today.
We may introduce website analytics in the future to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site. If and when we do, we will update this policy with notice before any such tracking is enabled and, where required, provide a consent mechanism so you can control non-essential tracking.
Where we send transactional and marketing email (for example, order confirmations, shipping updates, or a newsletter you opt into), those messages may be delivered through a third-party email service provider, which receives the information needed to send the message (such as your email address). We will name the specific provider in this policy once it is in active use. You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any such email or by emailing info@biodwell.com.
8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act:
- Right to Know: You can request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share about you.
- Right to Delete: You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: You can direct us not to sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See the opt-out form below.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You can direct us to limit our use of sensitive personal information (e.g. health-adjacent data) to that which is necessary to perform our services.
- Right to Correct: You can request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA / CPRA rights.
To exercise these rights, contact us at info@biodwell.com. We respond to verifiable requests within 45 days, or use the immediate opt-out below for sale/share preferences.
9. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
BioDwell does not sell personal information for money. This website does not currently run analytics or advertising cookies that would qualify as "sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising" under CPRA. If we introduce such tracking in the future, you can use the button below to record an opt-out in advance — your choice is remembered on this device and will be honored for any analytics or advertising tracking we may later enable.
For a verifiable rights request (Know / Delete / Correct), email info@biodwell.com with the subject line "CCPA request" — we'll respond within 45 days.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Specific retention periods, by category:
- Order records and sample chain-of-custody: 7 years (US tax-record requirement under IRC §6001 + state recordkeeping rules).
- Email marketing profiles: until you unsubscribe, plus 30 days for transactional cleanup.
- Contact-form submissions: 12 months from receipt, then deleted.
- SMS opt-in records (TCPA audit trail): 4 years from the last message you received (matching the TCPA statute of limitations under 47 U.S.C. § 227 + 28 U.S.C. § 1658).
- Cloudflare server logs: 30 days (Cloudflare's default retention on the account tier we use).
- Account data: until you request deletion, then within 30 days.
To request deletion, email info@biodwell.com with subject line "CCPA delete request." We respond within 45 days as required by Cal. Civ. Code §1798.130(a)(2).
11. Cookies
This website currently uses only essential/functional cookies and local browser storage required for the site to operate. We do not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. You may refuse cookies through your browser settings; however, refusing essential cookies may limit core functionality (cart, regulatory shipping checks).
If we introduce analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this policy with notice and, where required, provide a consent mechanism so you can keep non-essential cookies off.
The specific cookies and storage we currently use:
Because this site currently sets only essential cookies, there are no analytics or marketing preferences to manage at this time. Essential cookies cannot be disabled because they are required for the site to function safely. If we introduce non-essential tracking in the future, we will provide a way to manage your preferences and update this section accordingly.
12. Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it, including:
- Encrypted payment processing through PCI-compliant services
- SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers
- Access controls and authentication measures for our systems and databases
While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal obligations

14. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
